Small improvements... We're making gradual improvements to the this site, taing onboard users comments. We've now improved the History section, with grateful thanks to Mr Tony Roberts of The Finchley Society who kindly gathered together all the illustrations and pictures and wrote the potted history for us. You'll notice also we are in the process of adding the local schools page – bear with us while we gather together the information to complete this page. If you look now you'll see it's very much under construction. April will soon be upon us, and we imagine there is probably all kinds of events going on, please get in touch with us and with the details and we'll put them in the What's on section.

This is a new idea: We want you dear visitor to share with us what you do to have a great day in East Finchley.
Maybe it's taking your children to Cherry tree Woods, and going for a coffee at Amici. Maybe it's a film at the Phoneix followed by Dinner at the Bald Faced Stag or the Clissold Arms.
Email info@east-finchley.com to let us know what you do to have a great time in East Finchley, and we'll post your suggestions and recommendations here. And please, keep them clean.
We are acutely aware that times are tough at the moment and the news just seems to be all economic woe. So, we're opening up this column to all local businesses who may wish to promote themselves. Every bit of publicity helps and with 800 visitors a month to the site, that's 800 potential customers.
